即使一再潔淨身體，真實也不會發生，即便潔淨千萬次之多。
即使保持靜默，處在深度的冥想狀態下，真實也不會發生。
即使逃避瑪雅，從物質世界中撤退(飢餓)，也無法達到真實；即使我們滿足心智的慾望，獲得全世界所有的財富也不會達到真實。
即使你知道再多，有多少知識，多少理論，也沒有一個有用。
那要如何讓"真實"(Such 真理，真實) 發生？如何破除錯誤的幻象(真理上的障礙)？
喔Nānak，藉由行走向天命。藉由臣服於神的意志。--(這是註寫在你之中)
--接受你自己如其所是的樣子，不要嘗試去淨化你自己，因為當你嘗試去淨化自己，你是在說你現在的樣子不夠好。宇宙所創造出來的你不好，你需要變得更潔淨。嘗試去滿足所有的慾望，你是在說：我沒有，我是空的。嘗試去閱讀所有的真理書籍，是在說你不夠聰明，所以guru nanak 說去服從你內在的Hukum。必須明白一切都以京具足在你之內。
宇宙已經在流動，跟著宇宙一起流動。當你以個人意志做得太多，等於再跟宇宙說：這不好，有更好的。所以你追求知識，追求潔淨，追求靜默，追求避世或滿足一切物質慾望。
